Our mission is to create a nurturing environment where families can find solace, belonging, and understanding among peers who share similar experiences.
Through compassionate individual and group counselling sessions, together with tailored therapeutic programmes, we empower children, young people, adults, and families to navigate their emotions, build resilience, and regain a sense of stability.

Nurturing Hope in Times of Pain
The Karl Vella Foundation (KVF) hosted its second annual conference, Nurturing Hope in Times of Pain, bringing together professionals from the psychosocial field to explore trauma, resilience and hope-centred practice through expert insights, lived experience and practical approaches.
Speakers explored understanding pain, reframing hope, relationships that heal, supporting children and young adults through pain, meaning, purpose and inner strength, and creative pathways to hope. The conference also featured a multidisciplinary panel, Hope in Practice: Translating Ideas into Action, focusing on how these ideas can be carried into practice.

"KVF is truly heaven for my son. He looks forward to the sessions and will not swap them for anything. At KVF he found a home where people can understand his feelings and he now knows that there are other children living in similar difficult circumstances and being happy is still an option.”
